River Hawk Ranch
River Hawk Ranch was created to provide a more natural alternative for physical and mental nourishment, which is so lacking in today’s urban and commercial focused society.
Our Story
I developed a love for nature, land, and animals while working the family’s hobby farm and frequent visits to my grandfather’s commercial sheep and dairy farm. My values and passions include health, fitness, nature, animals, wildlife, land stewardship, outdoor adventures, hunting, shooting, and educating and sharing experiences with likeminded people.
After obtaining a BA in Supply Chain/Operations and an MBA at top-tier programs, I developed strategies, tools, and processes to improve business and financial performance of major corporations in leadership and management consulting roles.
Though very successful in achieving corporate objectives, I parted ways to pursue my passions by founding River Hawk Ranch to focus on products and customers that inspire me and work with likeminded people to build a streamlined operation free of bureaucracy and BS.
Why Ranch Cattle and Beef Shares at River Hawk Ranch
Before acquiring the ranch and raising cattle, I relied on grocery stores to purchase beef. As a fitness enthusiast, I was aware of the huge health benefits of grass-fed beef including high levels of health Omega-3’s and Antioxidants, which have been proven to improve health and longevity.
Why Guided Hunts and Firearm Lessons
I developed a love and passion for shooting and hunting in my youth, first with small game and then hunting deer as I came of age. My brother and I spent long days perusing game, often coming up empty handed but always loving the adventure of the hunt.
Why Ranch Vacations, Events, and Special Experiences
My favorite memories include sitting on the covered porch watching cattle graze in the stunning river valley below, star watching while enjoying a warm fire and company, exploring the many miles of trails across several distinct ecosystems, and cooling off in the San Saba River, including paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing.

I originally acquired the ranch as a relaxing and stimulating retreat for friends and family. The ranch had stunning landscapes and an interesting history, but overgrazing and neglect depleted the land of diverse and lush vegetation that once fed and inspired our ancestors. As I reinvigorated the land where people, wildlife, and cattle thrived I decided to focus my time and energy on sharing its magic with others.

Guided Hunts & Shooting Lessons
I developed a love and passion for shooting and hunting in my youth, first with small game and then hunting deer as I came of age. My brother and I spent long days perusing game, often coming up empty handed but always loving the adventure of the hunt. Over time I honed my hunting and shooting skills to a high level where success is much more frequent, but this has also decreased the challenge and thus excitement for me.
Guiding others (many beginners) on deer hunts brought back that sense of excitement and I found teaching shooting and hunting skills to be extremely gratifying. I decided to focus on a hunting experience I cherished in my youth, which is social, exciting, family friendly, and affordable.
